I recently got the opportunity to film a demo reel for aerialist, Adrienne Jadwinski. When I was asked to do this, I went and did some research to see what a typical aerial demo would look like. I had some shot ideas that came to mind and just looked around to see if anyone had done what I had in mind. I didn’t really see much out there other than recordings from live events so I had an opportunity to do something unique because I had full control of the shots and angles. Adrienne had a space that had lighting and was large enough so that I could shoot anywhere I wanted to.
I think my favorite shot was when she was on the silk and twirled down. Being able to shoot it from the floor was something I have wanted to do for a while and I was lucky enough to do it. I was a bit scared, I mean I was hand holding the shot and having someone fly down right at you is quite the feeling.
Overall I had a great time filming this and I hope it gives her what she wants and look forward to seeing the response from it.
